So...Why Doesn't Ford Let Us Know?
Do you have white powder or dust blowing out of your air conditioning vents in your Ford vehicle?
If you do, or if it starts to happen to you in your Ford, watch out. This stuff is BAD!!!
I am outraged that Ford knows that there is a white dust problem with a wide range of models and model years of their vehicles, and they are not telling anyone about it before hand. People are having a bad experience because of this.
I feel that this is callous and quite likely a deliberate tactic on Ford's part. Myself, my wife, and my company have been adversley affected by this dust to the tune of damage to my health and thousands of dollars in direct cost.
How many others have been hurt by Ford, and didn't know why?
In their own technical service bulletin #TSB09-21-6 Ford says that the following models and years are affected:
FORD:
2000-2005 Navigator
2007-2009 MKX
2005-2009 Focus
2008-2010 Crown Victoria
MERCURY:
2000-2005 Expedition, F-150 2008-2010 Grand Marquis, Mariner Hybrid,
2007-2009 Edge Mariner
2008-2010 Escape Hybrid, Escape
LINCOLN:
2008-2010 Town Car
I found out about the Ford White Dust problem by accident. Ford did not tell me. I had to ask! I'll tell you how that occurred on this website.
I have not had a satisfactory experience in dealing with Ford about this problem. They respond slowly, and repeatedly do not address the issues that I have raised. I feel that the only thing I can do about it is to try and make sure that you too are not negatively affected by this problem. Hence this website built in December 2010.
When my company recently processed a new vehicle order for me, I picked a brand other than Ford. I will never drive, rent or buy another Ford product because of how Ford has mistreated us. After you read the information on this website, I hope I have convinced you to consider another vehicle supplier than Ford. To my mind they are not honest, and they do not really care about their clients and prospects.
